Dr. Shirosky grew up in the suburbs of Boston and obtained her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University. At University she developed a particular love for exotic companion animals and their specialized care. Upon graduation, Dr. Shirosky moved to Philadelphia to attend PennVet and continue to pursue her passion for animals and medicine. Over the last few years, Dr. S has been working as a general practitioner for a variety of species including dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, and everything in between! In her spare time, Dr. Shirosky enjoys exploring the restaurants of Philadelphia and taking care of her miniature zoo family. Dr. S and her partner Patrick are proud pet parents to a dog, 4 cats, 2 rabbits, and 1 tortoise.
